On September 5th, David Cougle submitted a letter to the US Army Corps of Engineers over the Tentatively Selected Plan (TSP) for a levee system for St. Tammany parish.

Cougle, like many other residents, oppose any plan which excludes District 9 and leaves its residents out of any plan for protection. Mr. Cougle also does not believe the proposals of raising HWY 90/190 and gates at the Rigolets were sufficiently considered.

Cougle will work with state and federal partners to ensure that District 9 is included in any plans to protect the community from flooding. Please find his letter attached.
